Tracking FAQs
-
There is no way to fast-track your DBS Check. All you can do is ensure that your application is completed accurately and promptly.
There are websites out there that offer a “fast-track” service, but this does not speed up your DBS Check. They are also not authorised by your local authority meaning you may have to pay for a new DBS application.
-
There is no tracking for your DVLA Licence Check as it is completed instantly.
Once you’ve provided consent for the DVLA Check to be carried out, our system can automatically run a search against the DVLA database and provide this to your licensing authority.
-
There is no set turnaround time for a DBS Check. The Disclosure and Barring Service advise that any DBS Check can take up to 8 weeks.
On average, Enhanced DBS Checks are completed within 14 days.
Over 80% of TaxiPlus’ DBS Checks are completed in under 14 days. Over 93% are completed in under 30 days.

This isn’t necessarily something to worry about.
The Disclosure and Barring Service send the DBS Certificate out using second-class post. This can take up to 14 days.
If after 14 days you still haven’t received your DBS Certificate, you can request a reprint.
You can do this by calling the DBS on 0300 0200 190.
You can only request one reprinted certificate. This needs to be done within 3 months of the issue date.
